Ingredients:
• 3 tea bags black tea
• 4 cups water
• 1 cinnamon stick 3 cm
• 1 piece of ginger root inch, cut into 4 slices
• 1 / 2 tsp (2 mL) ground cardamom seeds
• 1 / 2 tsp (2 mL) black peppercorns
• 1 / 2 c. teaspoon (2 mL) cloves
• 1 teaspoon (5 ml) whole coriander seeds
• 1 cup (225 ml) milk
• honey or other sweetener to taste
Preparation:
Bring water to boil in a saucepan. Add the spices, cover and cook 20 minutes. Add tea bags and steep for 10 minutes. Add the milk and bring to room temperature drink, do not boil. Strain the mixture through cheesecloth or a cotton cloth. Serve with honey or other sweetener to taste.
